Tuesday, November 24th, 2009

Shopping online is what I plan on doing Friday! I am not going to any Black Friday sales outside of my house! I am going to do all my shopping online! I can get a lot done faster and everything comes to my house! I do not have to worry about fighting over parking spaces, rude people or fighting for the last toy! Nope, not me.

I plan on shopping at Kaenon.com to get some items for my parents and brother. I don’t want to say what I am getting. They might lurk my site and I dont want them knowing!! At Kaenon they are having a Black Friday/Cyber Monday Sale: Up to 60% off select styles (sunglasses, t-shirts, hats, etc) Coupon Code: FREE2DAY this gives free 2 day shipping on all orders over $125

Making a list of kid toys and checking it twice!

Wednesday, November 11th, 2009

This weekend I am planning on working with my nephew and having him write a letter to Santa and having him write down his kid toys list. I know that he is still young, but he knows about Santa and I think it would be a fun thing to do. Not only is it helping him use his mind, it helps him write as well. I can’t wait to see what he puts down that he wants!

We are also going to put up the Christmas tree too. I enjoy putting up the tree. It will be fun putting up the tree with my nephew. He likes to look at all the different ornaments and asking me what it is. He is very interested in different things and always asks me why?

Our shopping trip to get kid toys

Wednesday, November 11th, 2009

Our church has a program called “Angel tree” . Bascially you buy a small gift for a child. The parent of the child is either in jail or is in prison and is unable to buy there children kid toys. I think its a wonderful program they have. We did it last year and I am hoping we can do it again this year.

Last year we bought for a child that was three and we got him a really nice toy. The parent also leaves a small message for the person buying saying thank you. Ours was in spanish and we couldnt read it. I googled it and found out it meant thank you many hugs and kisses. I thought that was sweet. No child should be without a small gift during the holidays.
